The second epoch of Nissan’s all-electric automobile. It’s evaluated to offer consumers a decision of brand-new artillery packs and give a riding extent of well over 200 miles in top-spec versions. What will be dissimilar is that there will be a decision between two and possibly three—artillery packs, commencing at 40 kWh of capability and likely excelling out at 60 kWh.
Those packs won’t be much if any dense than the 30-kW unit in the outbound model, so performance likely will be the same, cheerful at debased municipality accelerates, merely adequate everywhere else, and not particularly ennobling. Will compete BMW i3, Chevrolet Bolt EV, Hyundai Ioniq, Tesla Model 3. The brand-new Leaf should arrive in January 2018, commencing in the debased-$30,000 extent.
