Mercedes-AMG released this illustration of their GT concept (no more information available at this moment) will display at the Geneva auto show next week. But despite lack of information its clear as will have four doors.
AMG, it would be, has a case of Porsche Panamera resentment. AMG-enhanced Mercedes sedans are nothing brand-new—in information, they are the foundation from which AMG evolved but AMG’s only distinctive version, the GT and its deviations, is supplied only as a coupe or convertible. With the GT idea, the Mercedes in-house go-faster division clearly is investigating a groomed sedan derived. Or make that a four-door hatchback, as it appears the idea has a rear liftgate rather than a stalk.
But we won’t go ludicrous examining this illustration for indications, since the vehicle itself will make its beginning in just a few days (Tuesday, March 7, to be accurate). It will be intriguing to see how the GT Concept looks next to its Zuffenhausen doppelgänger, which is similarly extending with a brand-new body style of its own: a facility wagon, in the shapely form of the brand-new Panamera Sport Turismo.
